Rowena Zhang, a GAD graduate from UIC, is now pursuing Environmental Studies at UPenn. Her undergraduate experience, including internships and summer school, equipped her with essential skills and knowledge. Courses like Global Environmental Governance and Public-Private Partnership, along with practical research, prepared her for postgraduate studies. Rowena advises future students to maximize opportunities, engage in relevant internships, and align academic interests with practical experiences to stand out in competitive applications.
