ICCS Seminar: Media Accessibility and Language Services in the AI Era: Pedagogy and Practice in Translation – April 11, 2026

On April 11, 2026, the ICCS Seminar entitled “Media Accessibility and Language Services in the AI Era: Pedagogy and Practice in Translation” was held successfully at Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU) in Zhuhai. The seminar was co-organized by Dr. Kangte Luo from the Institute of Cross-Cultural Studies (ICCS) at BNBU, Prof. Jackie Xiu Yan from the Department of Linguistics and Translation at the City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK), and the Hong Kong Audio Description Studies Association (HKADSA). The event brought together leading global experts and scholars in media accessibility and language services from Beijing, Shanghai, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Macau, Zhuhai, the UK, and Spain.
