Academic Requirement: You should hold a bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent qualification) from a recognised university.
English Language Requirement: If your first language is not English and your undergraduate degree was not taught in English, you will need to provide a valid English proficiency test score. You can meet this requirement with one of the following:
An overall band score of 6.5 or above in IELTS; or
A minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 79 (Internet-based); or
CET-6 (College English Test Band 6): 500 or above; or
Grade D in AS Use of English (HKALE); or
Level 4 in English Language (HKDSE).

Here is a quick overview of the required application materials.
1) Official Academic Transcript: Submit a transcript with your university’s official stamp (in English or Chinese). If it doesn’t show your cumulative GPA (cGPA) and the full grading scale, you’ll need to provide separate proof of your cGPA or full-scale GPA.
2) University Degree and Graduation Certificate: Upload scanned copies of your original degree certificate and graduation certificate. If you are a final-year student who hasn’t graduated yet, you may instead submit a letter of enrollment status bearing the university’s official stamp.
3) Two Reference Letters: You need two signed reference letters (in English or Chinese). Alternatively, you can simply provide your referees’ contact details through the online application system.
4) English Proficiency Test Report: Submit the relevant English test score report as required by the programme’s English requirements. If your previous degree was taught entirely in English, you can provide an official letter confirming English as the medium of instruction instead.
5) Personal Statement: Write a personal statement (within 500 words, in English or Chinese) and type or paste it directly into the designated field in the application system. Please note that uploaded attachments will not be accepted.
6) Scanned Copy of Identity Document: Please provide a scanned copy of your identity document as follows:
Mainland Chinese applicants: ID card (both sides)
Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan applicants: Mainland Travel Permit
International applicants: Passport
7) CV: Please provide a copy of your CV (in English or Chinese).
8) Any Other Supporting Documents (optional): You may also include any additional materials that strengthen your application, such as a portfolio (e.g., published papers, personal websites), professional qualification certificates, or award certificates.
